WTC's product range is composed of custom hardware and software solutions developed, implemented, and supported by our in-house engineering staff since 1969.

eICIS

The eICIS is our primary analysis and collection device with interfaces for Dallas Semicondutor 1-Wire® ports, and Modbus slaves via RS232 or RS485 to connect to your analyzers. Data is maintained on compact flash and, can be exported to the eDas.Core server for safe keeping, or it can retained and viewed on the flash for as long as a year, in most cases. The analysis program is written using an HMI interface builder with graphical interfaces controlled by security levels. The eICIS power can be controlled from an X10 interface, giving the customer remote on/off flexability. Communication to the eICIS is done through an Ethernet NIC. Although serial communications can also used for remote locations. Users may login using a browser, or application. Viewing only the assigned level of operations, and statuses required. You can see a demo through our request form.

Complex networks of sensors, instruments, monitors, alarms, Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and plant computers are easily tied together. The eICIS is a set of modular components you select and configure to build instrument data acquisition and process control nodes. Add as many eICIS nodes as needed (up to 63 per network leg) and tie them into your Local Area Network (LAN) or even a Wide Area Network (WAN) using any of several industry standards. eICIS can communicate through a standard serial network to a PC running MS Windows 2000 or greater. Standard dial-in modems and communications software enable world wide remote access to the eICIS system.

eICIS 128 Hardware:

  • ICIS 128 maximum I/O count:
  • An eICIS 128 package includes processor and communication cards, analog & digital input/output connection panels with signal conditioning on a channel-by-channel basis, a power supply and optional modems.
  • 32 Analog input, 16 analog output, 24 digital input/output channels
  • ICIS 512 PLC version for higher I/O counts:
  • The eICIS 512 Interfaces with any PLC, DCS, or other eICIS. Four separate serial connections for PC, PLC & DCS connections. Modbus, RS232 or RS 485.

eDas Core

eDas.Core is WTC's new web application server that provides a data collection repository, status, and reporting tools for one or more eICIS devices. Data polling is conducted for each eICIS on an individualized periodic basis. The end user can view the status of all designated eICIS' parameters from any internet connected PC, as well as accessing the control parameters through the device Interface. Data values can be transfered from one eICIS to another, as well as with a foriegn database. Historical data views are available for immediate operational consideration, along with periodic reporting features. The eDas.Core server can syncronize the time across your eICIS devices manually, or on automated basis. The data sets are also backed up on a daily basis for selective recovery, or for storage on external media. Thus providing the customer with a tool to manage data no longer in use. The eDas.Core server will be compliant with the EPA's upcomming reporting format changes.

The eDas.Core and/or Human Machine Interface (HMI) display near real-time instrument data including raw values, drift corrected values, and instantaneous and average emission data with warning and excess flags. Also view real-time and reduced data, current set points, alarm points, graphs and calibration results. Designated operators can modify calculation constants, calibration timing, control sequence timing, alarm limits, via the HMI.

  • 1 GHz IBM compatible PC with Windows 2000 or greater.
  • 2 GB of dedicated Ram
  • Java Runtime Environment (JRE) v1.5.X or greater.
  • 512 MB ram of which JRE may allocate 256 MB.
  • 10 GB hard drive space

ICIS

The ICIS product has reached end of life. However, we will continue to support and enhance current installations. Even those that have been running for 15 years. The new eICIS product provides all of the features the ICIS provided, but with significant increase in functionality and reliability. The value is such, that you the customer, will receive better service and support from the new product offering.

Service Plans

  • Dial Up: The client is supported on a hourly fee for the specified issue. We use remote systems control software to obtain access to your machine for support issues. But, please be aware, beginning in 2009 E.P.A guidelines require broadband internet to deliver reports. This will create an advantage for broadband users when it comes to support. Dial Up service will still be offered to those clients whom are unable to obtain a high bandwidth connection, however pricing will reflect the additional time expenditure required to support systems in this manner.
  • Gold Plan: This plan provides pre paid support for a year, along with a visit to your site from an engineer to check the health of your system.

Data Handling and Reporting System

DHRS is designed to meet regulatory compliance monitoring for Continuous Emission Monitoring. Because of the modular construction, additional paper & electronic reports can be easily added to meet future US EPA or foreign governmental requirements. DHRS is a stand-alone system (it does not require an eICIS) that can create electronic and paper reports. WTC’s DHRS offers a number of standard reports including:

  • Daily, Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly.
  • Reason & Action with Operator Initials
  • Missing data & Excess Emission Reports
  • Calibration Reports.
  • Alarm Reports
  • Rolling Reports
  • Maintenance Reports
  • EDR Reports
  • Custom Reports

Governmental reports are available for Title V, 40 CFR part 60, 40 CFR part 75, NOX Budget, AIRS, and EDR 2.01. Custom Reports are also available. All Data is transferable into
