Bookkeeper/Office Administration

Job to begin May 1, 2007.

Job Description:

This position is a part-time Bookkeeper & Administrative Assistant position for handling some of the day-to-day financial, clerical and office administrative operations of WTC, Inc.

Tasks Include:

  • Posting Accounts Receivable/Payable
  • Invoicing Customers.
  • Bill Paying
  • Reconciling accounts.
  • Time Sheets: complile and present.
  • Expense Reports.
  • Multi-line telephone.
  • Monthly Payroll.
  • Quarterly tax reporting/forms.
  • Banking and tax payments.
  • Year-end QuickBooks closing.
  • Run errands.
  • Updating databases.
  • Create QB reports, Word Documents, and Excel sheets.

Required Qualifications:

  • Quickbooks Pro, Excel, Word, Access, Strong computings skills.
  • Accounting/Bookkeeping experience/degree or on track to degree.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including telephone interaction.

  • If student, must be a senior, or grad. student.
  • 10-20 hours per week. Can become permanent.
  • Walking distance of MSU. Will work around class schedule.
